Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance-TGS English Trailer
The chaps from Game Informer has uploaded the English version of the Tokyo Game Show trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. This isn't the first time we've seen this trailer, but it is the first time we've seen it in English with Quinton Flynn providing his recognizable voice to Raiden.

So like every other MGS game then.
In all the MGS games up to 3 their was a definite boundery between mechanical and biological. The Metal gears were great big metal beasts that look like they were engineered, built, made by man and machine. Then in MGS4 they not only made the MGS more animal like, mashing the boundary between mechanical and biological they also did the same with Raiden.
The thing is this game just looks ridiculous, the chick who starts off with two arms then becomes some multiped octo-women thing, really? It's then made even worse by the endless spouting of exposition about 'tools' 'weapons' and 'cyborgs' being living things. Or to put it another way stuff that Ghost In The Shell did miles better over a decade ago.
The game mechanic looks interesting, shame it will be attached to another long winded pointless MGS story that tries to say something in ten 20 minutes cut scenes that could have been said in one 30 second cut scene.
Seeems like a decent game from the looks of the trailer, but what worries me the most is it seems they try to over talk every aspect of what going on in game often rambling on not making any real sense, much like I started to feal at the end of msg4 lol.

Sadly there has never been a good ghost in the shell game. And those long and confusing Cut scenes are what make MGS game, with out them it wouldn't be the same. I personal love the cut scenes in MGS much like I loved them in Xenosaga Games on the ps2.
