Linksys WRT160NL router

by Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 06/25/2009 08:36 AM | source: | 0 comment(s)

Linksys introduced the WRT160NL, a new Linux-based Wireless-N broadband router with Storage Link. It's now available for $109.99, full specs can be read over here.

Linksys' WRT160NL is not really a "normal people" router. Its bonus features cater to tech enthusiasts who don't think that connecting their home computers to one another and the internet is enough. The most notable boon here is that the WRT160NL has a version of the Linux operating system pre-installed. Geeks like to hack their routers to install Linux so they can run all sorts of Linux apps on them
