A new benchmark result of an Intel Rocket Lake processor has been sighted in Geekbench. The processor in question has 8 cores and 16 threads. While people expect the procs to get clocked above 5 GHz, this one shows a maximum clock speed is 4.98 GHz.

The new score that is sighted indicates higher perf compared to what we have seen thus far (back in July some numbers also leaked on an 8-core part). The single-threaded performance of the CPU is about 9% better, with the multi-core test this difference increases to 29%.

The new numbers above match those of the Ryzen 5800X, also equipped with 8 cores and 16 threads. The 5800X scores about 6% higher with 10,367 points. The single-threaded performance of the Rocket Lake CPU is identical to that of the new Zen 3 models. The result in question was achieved with an HP Omen desktop, suggesting that partners now have access to Intel's eleventh generation Core processors.
