Intel Core i7 release date 17 November
It actually has been a much discussed topic ever since Core i7 and X58 product reviews surfaced earlier this week. however Intel initially would not disclose the "official" release date of Core i7 920, 940 and 965 Extreme.
Intel sort of lifted the embargo and we can now officially let you know that the new processors will be launched at 17 November. But if you look around in some web shops, you might notice that some of them are selling already.
- Core i7 920 at 284 USD (mainstream)
- Core i7 940 at 562 USD (performance)
- Core i7 965 Extreme at 999 USD (enthusiast)
Check out our Core i7 review for a more in-depth look.
