In the USA a new ruling dictates that bans Huawei and 19 other Chinese companies or are tied to the Chinese military in some way or form. Among those 19 is a company called Inspur Group, one of the largest technology companies in mainland China focused on the cloud, servers, Artificial Intelligence, etc.

That means that the trade war is even more bad news for companies like Intel, as theĀ Inspur Group can no longer purchase processors from Intel, as no American company is allowed to trade with them alongside the other 19 companies. It is seriously bad news for Intel as since Inspur represents just over 50 percent of the (AI server/cloud) market in China, and that represents 26% of Intel's global server/processor sales. Inspur only uses Intel processors and uses them for severs likeĀ Alibaba and Baidu.

"Intel has temporarily paused shipments to this customer to make some changes to our supply chain as required by United States law," the company said in an official statement.
