HP's Windows 7-based, $799 Slate 500
Officially dubbed the HP Slate 500 for Business, the 1.5-pound tablet will be available through HP's small-business, enterprise and government-sales Web storefronts, and it'll come with a corporate-level sticker price of $799. The Slate's final specs are still pretty impressive. We're talking an 8.9-inch, 1,024-by-768 display powered by a 1.86GHz Intel Atom processor, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage, Wi-Fi (no 3G, though), an SD card slot, dual cameras (VGA in front, 3 megapixels in back) and USB port. The Slate also ships with a stylus (a necessity, given the Windows 7 tablet reportedly won't come with HP's TouchSmart interface installed) as well as a dock that boasts an HDMI output and two more USB ports.
