HP offers X32 In-plane switching (IPS) 165Hz monitor (WQHD) with Eyesafe
A 31.5-inch IPS-type panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (WQHD or 1440p) is used, which is most likely an Innolux AAS panel in particular. A 165Hz refresh rate is available, and Adaptive-Sync is also supported – including AMD FreeSync Premium, which has a VRR range of 60 – 165Hz and supports LFC.
Among the specifications are a light matte anti-glare screen surface, a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, 178°/178° viewing angles, and 10-bit color (8-bit + FRC). A flicker-free WLED backlight produces a peak luminance of 400 cd/m2 and a color gamut of 99 percent sRGB when used in conjunction with a display. TÜV Rheinland has certified the monitor as "Eyesafe," meaning that the blue peak has been shifted to less energetic wavelengths and the amplitude of the peak has been reduced in order to potentially improve viewing comfort.
The monitor has been certified by VESA DisplayHDR 400, which is a fundamental HDR certification level that allows the monitor to respond to HDR10-compatible content. In addition, 10-bit color processing is used. HDR standards, on the other hand, do not specify any requirements for local dimming, a particularly high brightness, or a particularly generous color gamut. A 1ms grey to grey response time is specified, which, as is customary, should not be given too much weight in your decision-making. Using a quick-release mechanism, the included stand attaches centrally to the device and can be removed to reveal 100 x 100mm VESA mounting holes for alternative mounting options. There is also an adjustment for the tilt and height (100mm or 3.94 inches). The ports are located on the bottom and include an AC power input (internal power converter), DP 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The ports are located on the bottom of the device.
The monitor is listed for sale for approximately $400 USD.

Happy to see one of the majors come out with a new Monitor. The only thing I could say is at that size why not go 3440x1440 max rez? I have a 32" Asus right now that runs at 60hz, max rez is 2550x1440. What I really want is 3440x1440 on 32" or 34" with at least 144mhz. Anyway my hopes are that Monitor makers will soon come out with a new gen of Monitor Models soon. We are running on 2020 models for so long now.

I wouldn't get that worked up about it. We want higher refresh rate, not just for games.

VRR rate of 60 to 165?? That's unacceptable. Everything else about it is close, I'd want this thing if it were 30+ for VRR and HDR1000, hell, there's such little advancement that maybe I'd settle for HDR600.

I'm not knocking this monitor as it seems to be a really good mix of size, resolution, HDR capability, color depth and features for a good price but I'm tired of the whole Hz race. What is the real percentage of professional gamers that might actually benefit from uber Hz anyway. I would think it's super low and take into account the number of people who actually own cards capable of pushing AAA games at high resolutions with all the bells and whistles at 120FPS or higher is probably pretty small. Hz is fine but definitely NOT the be all end all.
