Gigabyte to launch Mini-ITX version of GeForce GTX 1070

Gigabyte to launch Mini-ITX version of GeForce GTX 1070

Gigabyte is releasing a mini-ITX version of the 1070 GTX . The card with a length of 16.9 centimeters will even receive a factory overclock. The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC features a single 90mm fan.

The new card carries SKu code GV-N1070IXOC 8GD  and runs at 1531MHz with boost clock to 1721MHz. In OC Mode that is 1556MHz with a boost of of 1746MHz (software application with OC mode required to be run) . The 1070 GTX reference card from Nvidia runs at a 1506MHz with boost to 1683MHz . There's 8GB of GDDR5 memory running at 8008MHz effectively.

The Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC features a 5+1-phase power supply. Display outputs are DisplayPort 1.4 , HDMI 2.0b and two DVI ports. The price should sit around 485 euros during its release.

Dammit, it's getting harder and harder to avoid the temptation of putting together a console sized monster HTPC/Gaming box for the big screen TV in the living room.

It's pretty nice man...It's a little older now but in its prime, my Alienware Alpha console was awesome for 720-1080p gaming. I still use it for some games and to stream games to over a 1gbp internal connection. :D

But this does make me want to build a new one...

No, I mean it - how did they shrink it so much? It is not a HBM card - where did they put everything? (and it is still smaller than FURY)

Update: Ha-ha - just noticed - the card even has SLI connectors)) Just imagine these 2 cute puppies in a tiny case =)
