Following the leak of the B660, H610, and H670 chipset specifications, the first images of a motherboard equipped with the first of these chipsets, the Gigabyte B660 Gaming X DDR4, emerged,

DDR4 memory support will be provided by the B660 Gaming X DDR4 motherboard, which will reduce the cost of upgrading to the new platform by avoiding the purchase of expensive DDR5 memory that is currently used in other motherboards. In terms of the CPU, we can see that it has a 10-phase VRM, which is more than enough for the i5-11600K or any "No-K" processor with lower power consumption, as well as one PCI-E x16 port that is possibly 5.0, two PCI-E x8 ports that are possibly 4.0, and three M.2 ports that are possibly all PCI-E 4.0, or even one of them may become PCI-E 3.0. For I / O, the B660 Gaming X DDR4 will have four USB 3.0 ports, three conventional USB 3.2 ports, and an additional USB port for BIOS Flashback, in addition to DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs, a 2.5Gb / sec Ethernet port, and all of the standard audio outputs.

So far, there has been no official announcement of the B660 motherboards, which are expected to arrive in late January alongside the H610 and H670 motherboards and Alder Lake "No-K" processors, so it is too soon to tell when they will be released.
