Nvidia updated on the launch of their upcoming GeForce RTX 4070 non-Ti model, informing board partners that the launch is expected to take place in April. However, no specific date has been confirmed by the company.

The embargo information is subject to change and Nvidia has been known to alter, delay or even cancel their embargo information in the past. The RTX 4070 is rumored to feature 5,888 Shader Cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory, and is expected to be a lower-powered version of the RTX 4070 Ti with a TDP of 200W, compared to the 285W TDP of the Ti. The code name PG191 SKU 343 was previously mentioned by hardware leaker Kopite7kimi, and there are rumors that the RTX 4070 may have two GPU variants (AD104-250 and 251), which may require board changes for each SKU.
