Game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released the fall of 2019

Game publisher EA has announced that the new Star Wars game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released in the autumn of this year.

EA mentioned this during the presentation of its quarterly figures. It was already known that Fallen Order would appear in 2019, but there is now a more specific release time frame. The game is developed by Respawn Entertainment, the creator of Titanfall and the battle royale game Apex Legends. The new Star Wars game will be an action adventure that takes place after the events in the third Star Wars film. Players crawl into the skin of a Jedi student. Much more is not known about the game.

EA also announced that in April 2020 new parts of the games Need for Speed and Plants vs. Zombies appear. The latter became known as tower defense game on mobile devices, but later also appeared as a shooting game on consoles. It is not known what kind of game the new part will be.

I really liked Outcast and Academy. As long as it is in similar style... good lightsaber combat style and force customization + story told in close enough time intervals... I am in for buy.

But if they cripple force selection, simplify fighting styles or put too much meaningless fighting in between story progression, I am out.

I have mixed feelings about this. There is a high chance that it will be an absolute microtransaction + leftist feminist agenda infused trash.

But then again, it's Respawn, so "shrug" fingers crossed.

Yeah well... I'm sceptical.

It would be really nice to get another Jedi Knight like game, with modern graphics. Force Unleashed didn't really do it for me. I'm only talking about an SP, story heavy game here, not mindless running around MP games. But then again, modern graphics require a huge amount of work, which ultimately will take resources away from other aspects.

Respawn is a really good developer, so I'm really curious how the game will turn out. But I'm still pissed about EA axing Visceral. They were the ones working on this game or a similar Star Wars game beforehand. And with Amy Hennig (Legacy of Kain, Uncharted) leading the project, no less. Shame.
