The new video clip shows Diego, Castillo's son (Anton Castillo is the boss of the fictional island of Yara), trying to flee with a group of people including Dani. As Castillo raises his reluctant son to rule, you play as the guerrilla fighter hoping to overthrow his regime.

Apparently, there are plans after launch to show players the other side of the story, from previous games. With the Far Cry 6 Season Pass, you can play as Vaas Montenegro (Far Cry 3), Pagan Min (Far Cry 4) and Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5) to discover their backstories and experience what it's like to be the bad guy. The Season Pass also includes Cyberpunk-themed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Far Cry 6 will release on October 7, the game will be released worldwide on October 7 for PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S consoles, Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
