EK releases GIGABYTE GTX 980 Ti XTREME GAMING Full-Cover water block

EK is releasing a new Full-Cover water block, designed and engineered specifically for GIGABYTE XTREME GAMING series NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti top-tier graphics cards – the EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG.

EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG is a high-performance Full-Cover water block, designed for GIGABYTE® non-reference design GeForce® GTX 980 Ti XTREME GAMING graphics cards. The cooler actively cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas, thus allowing the graphics card and it’s VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. Water block aesthetically covers the entire PCB and with the corresponding retention backplate, users get visually stunning GPU in their system.

Name
Interconnectivity method
MSRP (incl. VAT)
EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG – Nickel FC Terminal / HD Tube 119.95€
EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG – Acetal+Nickel FC Terminal / HD Tube 119.95€
EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG Backplate – Black – 29.95€

EK-FC980 GTX Ti XG water block features EK unique central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic performance, allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps. The base is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality POM Acetal or acrylic (depending on the variant). Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe installation procedure.

Now I know what I'm buying if Pascal doesn't live up to its hype!

Good job EK, although a bit too late but I understand it since GIGA XTRG wasn't release long ago.

Speaking of bad timing...

Pascal won't kill the 980-Ti, not OC 980-Ti , even less watercooled one.

And how long before full waterblock support for Pascal?
