EK Quantum Velocity Full Nickel Series Gets D-RGB

EK is upgrading its full nickel series of high-performance Velocity water blocks for modern AMD and Intel CPU sockets with a 5 V digital RGB LED. There is still a single LED hidden under the EK badge, but this time it is compatible with 5 V D-RGB (aRGB) headers. 



The transition to D-RGB lighting across the whole product line will allow users to utilize standardized 5 V requirements to power LEDs of their liquid cooling components.The name “Velocity” was inspired by the necessity to be lean and agile in the world of liquid cooling. A high-performance CPU water block is no good if it’s too restrictive on the flow and bottlenecking your entire liquid cooling loop. Efficient coolant flow and performance should go hand in hand, and neither should be sacrificed for another. EK Quantum Velocity series features the 5th iteration of the award-winning EK cooling engine, which is further tweaked to perfection. Built upon a decade of experience in liquid cooling, EK’s Velocity series CPU water blocks are the product of countless hours of simulations, research, and market-leading engineering. EK Quantum Velocity series CPU water blocks are recognized for their modern design with a wide variety of options specific to users’ demands. They are manufactured out of purest copper, which is then nickel-plated, while the top is made of nickel-plated brass.

EK Quantum Velocity series CPU water blocks are compatible with all popular CPU sockets on the market. They feature a universal mounting mechanism that offers error-preventing, tool-less installation, supporting Intel 1200, 115x, and Intel 20xx Sockets, AMD AM4 socket, as well as AMD HEDT sockets in form of TR4, sTRX4, and SP3 – depending on the CPU block model.
