EIZO introduces the FlexScan EV2460

EIZO introduces the FlexScan EV2460

Eizo outs their new FlexScan EV2460, really it is intended for business use. The EV2460 is a 23.8-inch monitor with an aspect ratio of 16:9. The EV2460 has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and has an ips panel. The

The narrow bezel of the EV2460 stands out immediately. This slim, compact design means that the 23.8-inch monitor in 16:9 aspect ratio occupies less space on the desk. Further, the fact that the bezel is nearly imperceptible makes the monitor well-suited for multi-screen setups. In terms of image quality and ergonomics, the EV2460 fulfills all requirements for monitors used in modern office environments: antireflection technology and Auto EcoView ensure a glare-free view of the screen. The Full HD LCD featuring IPS technology ensures the greatest possible viewing angle. The EV2460 achieves a contrast ratio of 1000:1 thanks to a typical brightness of 250 cd/m2.

EIZO provides a five-year warranty for the EV2460 – just like for all FlexScan models. This means the highest possible investment security and a low total cost of ownership. The EV2460 will be available in shops at the end of January at 299 USD, or 335 EUR in a white and a black model.

That's a lot of money for a FHD 24" monitor.

Agreed, That is almost as much as the 32 Inch Curved 1440p 144hz gaming monitor i bought last year. Why is an "Office Montior" $300? it should be sub $100.

It is a lot but then it is EIZO. They have a higher build quality than most. They build in power savings features like presence sensors. Really this is geared at offices where you want good power savings and a long 5 year warranty.

Just bought my wife two 1920x1080 22" IPS Dell monitors and a dual monitor stand for the price of one of these. I don't care if this is made by EIZO it's egregiously over priced.

Enterprise grade hardware always will have a price hump.
