EIZO Corp unveiled the new ColorEdge CS2400S - a 24.1-inch liquid crystal display designed specifically for creative professionals.

With a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, a brightness of 410 cd/m2, and a contrast ratio of 1,350:1, the display offers an impressive 1.07 billion display colors and covers 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut.

This latest addition to the ColorEdge line-up boasts a number of new features and improvements over its predecessor. A USB Type-C port has been added, providing a 70W power supply and allowing for a single cable to both output from a laptop and charge the battery. The ColorEdge CS2400S also includes an adjustment report that measures the display state at the time of shipment, which was previously only available on the professional CG series.

In line with the company's commitment to sustainability, the ColorEdge CS2400S has eliminated plastic packaging and cable protection materials, and the printed circuit board and parts inside the circuit board are halogen-free. This has not only helped to reduce waste but has also contributed to a reduction in power consumption (26W → 18W).

Other key specifications include a 19 ms response speed, DisplayPort x 1, HDMI x 1, USB Type-C x 1, USB 3.0 x 2, and USB 2.0 x 2 interfaces. The display also includes a digital uniformity correction circuit that ensures uniform brightness and chromaticity. Optional extras include a magnet-type light shielding hood (CH2400) and a dedicated calibration sensor (EX4). The stand supports -5 to 35° tilt, 90° pivot, 344° swivel, and 155mm height adjustment. The ColorEdge CS2400S will be available for direct sale from February 24th, priced at a spectacular  769 USD.

With OLED having such good colors is the price premium for eizo with it anymore? Or you are better off calibrating an OLED monitor?

For photo editing having the same UI up all day long it's not a good idea to have OLED.
