Battlefield 2042 will commence and open beta, according to EA. The beta is scheduled for early October, with everyone having access on October 8 and 9. Preorder customers will get the game a few days ahead of the public.

The beta test was announced on Tuesday, the company says. On October 8-9, the game will be tested on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. It will be available for open beta testing on October 6 and 7. The beta test was supposed to start sooner, but the game's release delayed it. Battlefield 2042 will be released for all platforms on November 19, 2018. This is four weeks behind schedule.

During the beta, players can play Conquest mode. This is the game's sandbox mode, where players can fight across a huge map. In addition to the Battlefield mode, you can use the Orbital map to explore your surroundings. This level pits players against each other and the time in a huge rocket fight.

The game will be available for download on October 5. To install the game, you'll need around 100GB of free disk space on your PC. Players using a PC need also to have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Core i5 6600K processor (or faster). Also, 8GB of RAM is required. An Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560 is required for optimal performance.
