Dell P2723D with 27inch WQHD IPS panel

Dell P2723D with 27inch WQHD IPS panel

The P2423D (23.8-inch) and P2723D (27-inch) QHD screens get a DisplayPortx1, HDMIx1, USB3.2 Gen.1 Type-Ax4 input terminals are included.

The P2423D measures 537.8 mm in width, 179.57 mm in depth, 496.11 mm in height, and weighs 5.45 kg. The width of the "P2723D" is 611.6 mm, the depth is 190.1 mm, the height is 535.2 mm, and the weight is 6.76 kg.

The 27-inch 2560 x 1440 (WQHD or 1440p) IPS screen with a refresh rate of 60Hz is employed. A matte anti-glare screen surface, a 1000:1 static contrast ratio, 178°/178° viewing angles, and 8-bit color compatibility are all noteworthy features. A flicker-free WLED backlight has a typical maximum brightness of 350 cd/m2 and a 99 percent sRGB color gamut. This is a 'ComfortView Plus' model with the blue light peak shifted to less energetic wavelengths, which may improve viewing comfort (TÜV Rheinland certified). A 'ComfortView' Low Blue Light (LBL) option is also included to reduce all wavelengths of blue light, giving the image a warmer look and promoting a more comfortable viewing experience.

A grey-to-grey reaction time of 5ms is indicated, however as is common, this figure should not be taken too seriously. The stand is held in place by a quick-release mechanism in the center and may be removed to allow a 100 x 100mm VESA compatible solution if required. The interfaces are placed downward and include an AC power input (internal power converter), HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2, and two USB 3.2 Gen1 connectors (plus upstream). Two more USB 3.2 ports are conveniently located at the bottom of the screen, beneath and to the left (when viewed from the front). The monitor has a starting price of $550 USD.

Well, even 75Hz is a improvement on a screen, 60Hz is a bit long in the tooth.

It seems to have the specs of a $150- monitor to me. You can get a 1440p IPS at 165Hz+ for $300. But it's Dell, they very often have absurd pricing on dumb items no one wants.

I was a bit generous because I was bored to go check monitor prices and be sure :p
