Dell Announced 3x new Full HD monitors in the 2421 range

Dell announced a total of three models, including the 24.1-inch WUXGA IPS liquid crystal display "U2421E," which uses a four-sided narrow frame design.

The "U2421E" is a 24-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200 pixel product with 16:10 aspect ratio ) it  uses a four-sided narrow frame design that reduces the hidden areas on the four sides of the top, bottom, left, and right to the limit. In addition to DisplayPort x1 and HDMI x1, the input interface is equipped with USB 3.2 Gen.1 Type-C x 1 that supports DisplayPort 1.4 mode and power supply up to 90W. Furthermore, the main unit is equipped with a USB hub, gigabit LAN, audio output, etc., and by combining it with a notebook PC, it can be operated like a docking station. The liquid crystal panel is IPS system, brightness 350 cd / ㎡, contrast ratio 1,000: 1, response speed 8 ms (GtoG typical) / 5 ms (GtoG high speed), maximum display color 16.7 million colors, viewing angle horizontal / vertical 178 °. It also has a DisplayPort output that supports up to 3 daisy chain connections. The stand supports -5 to 21 ° tilt, 90 ° swivel, and height adjustment of 150 mm. The eye care function is equipped with "low blue light".


In addition, the entry-level full HD liquid crystal display "Dell E" series equipped with HDMI and D-Sub will also be released at the same time. The liquid crystal size is 23.8 type "E2421HN" and 21.5 type "E2221HN". Ah, yes. 16:10.
My last one was a Samsung T220. Used it for 8 years until fungus or whatever the hell those black spots were started appearing.
It's too bad most games are designed for 16:9 aspect ratio today. Either you have letter boxed ones or you see less because it's zoomed in.

I just bought a midrange, 24" HD Dell. It's nice. It's for my 73 year old mother.

Me? I need an ultrawide. I'm not gaming like it's 2007.
