Dell ALIENWARE gaming laptop featuring 12th generation Intel Core and GeForce RTX graphics.

Del introduced two gaming notebook PCs powered by Intel's 12th generation Core processors and GeForce RTX graphics. 

The new ALIENWARE X15 R2 is a 15.6-inch liquid crystal display gaming laptop PC. The power supply circuit has eight phases for the GPU and four phases for the CPU, and the cooling system is equipped with "Quad Fan Technology," which includes a normal exhaust fan and a double opposing fan. Additionally, it is meant to retain the boost state for an extended period of time by integrating Alienware's proprietary gallium/silicon heat conductive material "Element 31." CPU Core i7-12700H, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB, memory LPDDR5 16GB, storage 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD, LCD 165Hz / Equipped with a 3ms full HD panel are the lowest "NEW ALIENWARE X15 R2 full customization" specifications. As standard, the network is equipped with Killer AX1675 Wi-Fi 6.

The CPU can be configured as a Core i9-12900H, the GPU as a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and the display as a WQHD / 240Hz or full HD / 360Hz. The main body measures 359.7 mm wide, 277.33 mm deep, 15.9 mm tall (Full HD / 360 Hz or WQHD 240 Hz) Or 16.3 mm tall (Full HD / 165 Hz), and weighs a minimum of 2.34 kg.

The ALIENWARE X17 R2 is a 17.3-inch liquid crystal display gaming laptop PC. The power supply circuit includes 12 phases for the GPU and six phases for the CPU, as well as "Quad Fan Technology" and "Element 31." CPU Core i7-12700H, GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6GB, memory DDR5 32GB, storage 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD, LCD 165Hz / Equipped with a 3ms full HD display are the lowest "NEW ALIENWARE X17 R2 full customization" specifications. As standard equipment, the network is supplied with a 2.5 Gigabit LAN by Killer Ethernet E3100 and a Killer AX1675 Wi-Fi 6.

The CPU can be configured as a Core i9-12900HK, the GPU as a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and the display as full HD / 360Hz. The main body measures 399.23 mm wide, 299.57 mm deep, 20.9 mm tall (Full HD / 360 Hz) / 21.4 mm tall (Full HD / 165 Hz), and weighs a minimum of 2.96 kg.

The X15 starts at 3000 USD and the X17 at 3200 USD.

Please, make gaming laptops 2x thicker and quiet. It would still be ok. Tapered designs are welcome too.
Why do they want to make high-power laptops noisy as vacuum cleaners, throttling from overheating, yet thinner than Nokia 3310?

Agree. Learned it the hard way i.e. by having gaming laptop :). Noise destroyed delicate in-game environment sounds and busy "vacuum cleaner" disturbed rest when sleeping. Later, for the price of the gaming laptop, built much faster, deadly silent and dark PC, which supports easy upgrades and fits into IATA carry-on baggage, and silent laptop/tablet for work. Gaming laptop make sense for people who actually play games when traveling. For travelers, who play games at home only, gaming laptop adds noise and weight for nothing.
