Cyberpunk 2077 preloads broke the record for bandwidth used on Steam since PUBG
Cyberpunk 2077 was able to be preloaded for a few days on PC and, it seems the game will set a new bandwidth record on the Valve platform.
Steam peaked towards 23.5 terabytes/s on December 7, the same day that Cyberpunk 2077 preloads went live. In the same hour that the preloads were activated, an increase of about 8 terabytes/s was observed until reaching a peak of 23.5 TB/s
Steam only shows bandwidth data for the last 48 hours, so it's difficult to know exactly when the previous spikes occurred. However, it seems that the previous record was set by the launch of PUBG 1.0 , in 2017. At that time, the title reached 2,912,831 concurrent players.

I played it a bit this morning, doesn't seem as demanding as people claim it to be.
At the moment my Ryzen 7 1700 and RAM are at stock speeds, and get ~60fps with my 5700XT on a 2560x1080 monitor with Ultra settings.
Gameplay seemed very smooth.

@Hilbert Hagedoorn
Have you played yet?
Can we expect a performance review?
I think most of us here are blown away by it.
Not really. I think it's a bit meh and I actually regret wasting money on it.
Mainly due to the combat system, which feels underwhelming and the (so far) scripted game play.
But who knows I might end up liking it. I did spend money on it so I might as well play it for a while. RDR2 is a far better game IMO.

Not surprising.
For those in the know though... to buy this on steam even with an awareness of GOG? That's just pure laziness and a shitty thing to do and I'll die on that hill.
