Why no HDMI v2.0 instead of v2.1 for QHD 240Hz model? Other specs looks good I will consider it as my current Samsung G7 (QHD) drives me nuts with its random signal loss.
Only thing I will miss its that sweet curve, but I will live haha

Yeah since they added USB C and DP 1.4 they limited HDMI to 2.0 for console compatibility.
Consoles are not able to use the compression used in 2.1 nor 240Hz and usually cause issues on 2.1 ports.
That's the only explanation I would have.
Why is your Samsung losing signal, have you tried updating the firmware?

Yup, all latest available firmware (1014.1) drivers etc - no change
What's interesting is that it only happens when surfing the net, never when playing games or watching movies, and mostly after it wakes up after screensaver or sleep mode.
Cables are latest DP 1.4a and 240Hz is fully working, I've read many comments on Reddit and it seems I'm not the only one with those kind of issues, sometimes monitor will not switch back on, and only disabling its power and enabling it again will make it wake up properly, never had a monitor that is unstable like PC sometimes can be lol, well never again another Samsung :/
The curve is amazing and high refresh rates are really great tho.. Just those annoying issues makes it that I can't recommend this monitor to anyone.
P.S. I also heard that it can still be issue with Nvidia drivers and this particular monitor hmn..
