Computex 2017: Fractal Design Going Multicolor with da G

Computex 2017: Fractal Design Going Multicolor with da G

While Fractal design wasn't present physically at Computex this year, they were. Safely tucked away in a hotel they setup a room with kit on display. The Focus G is going multi-color, the Celcius is in the house as well as some other things.

Fractal design recently released the new Celsius liquid cooling kits. The Celsius S36 for example is an all-in-one liquid cooling solution for desktop PCs and is available in 240mm and 360 versions. The kit is a self-contained (AIO) CPU cooling unit based on liquid cooling. It does not require much setup installation. With a pump and radiator shipped pressure tested, it is pre-filled and sealed directly from the factory to provide maintenance-free operation for years. This ease of use extends to its support of the latest Intel and AMD sockets; including the latest Intel LGA 1155/1156/2011 and AMD FM2 sockets as well as AM4 for Ryzen. Recently they also launched the sub 50 USD Focus G series.

The Focus G series have decent storage options and is aimed at a relatively smaller form factor. New is that FD is to offer these models in different colors like white, red and gunmetal grey, stepping away from the traditional black/white design. Fractal Design has released the Focus G, yet also a Focus G Mini. This one is a notch smaller and houses only smaller micro-ATX/ Mini-ITX motherboards. The chassis series will offer space for just two 3.5"/2.5 units that are tucked away in the compartment next towards the hidden power supply. These units are armed with Silent Series LL 120mm (Led Lit in white) that already have been factory installed, and that means good decent versus fairly little noise. They have more on display though like the Define S, have a look at some of the photos we took of all the kit available, now and in the near future. Oh and there was something tempered glass going on as well, but **** I forgot which model that was.
