Momomo, a data miner who is active on Twitter, has created a chart documenting the core numbers, clock speeds, expected power consumption, and pricing of the alleged chips.
The data verifies almost all of the predicted parameters are reflected in the new table, with the exception of a couple that are not. A retailer also leaked specs.
According to the retailer (Bestbuy), a Core i9-12900 with 16 cores and 24 threads will cost 520 USD, depending on if the integrated graphics is enabled. This is around $60 less expensive than the K-series 125W unlocked model. Also to be released is a Core i7-12700 65W processor with 12 cores and 20 threads, which will retail for 360 USD. BestBuy does not currently carry the F-variant. Check the thumbnail below for an overview.

With the current GPU shortage I recommend no one to get a CPU without an iGPU.
I know performance is not there but between having a PC and no PC, I think the iGPU wins.
I predict that the 12400F will be a beastly mid-range chip

It's why i went with a 11700 Non-K, if my GPU breaks down, since it's already old (GTX 1070) i will still have video output.

Currently relying on a pair of 5870s as backup if my Fury dies, and then falling back onto 8800 GT era things...
It's why i went with a 11700 Non-K, if my GPU breaks down, since it's already old (GTX 1070) i will still have video output.

I had a i5 2500k and mostly run it stock. Granted prices back then were not like today, but I'd never go into "K" territory again. As long as I can undervolt, I'm ok with the stock performance.
