Coffee Lake Based NUC Photos Surface

Intel is prepping NUCs based on 8th generation Coffee Lake SoCs. The NUC8i3BEH, NUC8i5BEH and NUC8i7BEH will look have a slot for 2.5″ drive and a slightly higher case.

There’s a larger grill on the left side surrounding the SD card reader as reported on nucblog; this is likely due to the fact that the 28 W TDP CPUs require better cooling than the 15 W CPUs used previously. The more compact NUC8i3BEK and NUC8i5BEK will only have an M.2 slot for storage and a more compact case.

The availability of these NUCs seems to get pushed back week by week. Now the dealers are saying the beginning of August. Thanks, SH SOTN for the news submit.
