AMD CEO Lisa Su tweeted a photo this morning that appeared to be AMD's announcement of new Ryzen 6000 'Rembrandt' mobile processors, CES also revealed additional details about the chip.

The listing reveals that the new chips have the RDNA2 graphics architecture, which is a significant improvement over the Vega graphics found on the current-generation Ryzen 5000 Mobile 'Cezanne' chips. Additionally, the new chips support "DDR5 technology," which is a considerable improvement over the previous-generation chips' support for DDR4/LPDDR4X. As with the rest of AMD's mobile processors, these chips will soon make their way to desktop PCs. Given the teaser image and the CES 2022 award, AMD is certain to provide additional details regarding the Ryzen 6000 Mobile processors during today's speech. That will be available at 7 a.m. PT.

According to recent sources, the Rembrandt APU will have up to eight cores and sixteen threads. Certain Ryzen 6000HX SKUs will boost to 5.0 GHz, making it the first Ryzen product to do so.
