Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Recommended Requirements

It has been exclusive for PlayStation 4, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is available for PC through Battle.net. It features a top-down remastering. It features physics-based rendering, better textures and animations, and much more.

Classic missions are back, including Ultimate Risk, The Gulag, and Whiskey Hotel. You'll be able to join Soap, Price, "Ghost" and the rest of Operational Force 141 to restore order to the world. These are the requirements:

Minimum

  • Operating System: Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8 or Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 / GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon HD 7950
  • DirectX: DirectX 11
  • Memory: 8 GB of RAM
  • Storage 80 GB
  • Internet: Broadband Internet connection

Recommended

  • Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit with its latest update
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen ™ R5 1600X
  • Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon R9 390 / Radeon RX 580

Where this is really cool SP wise, this game was the beginning of the downfall of the COD series. Anti Cheat? "Nah." Dedicated servers? "Nah, p2p is just as good." 20 Mil in game Dev and 200 mil in marketing. GG no re

EDIT: I will say with this new one (COD: MW) it's somewhat of a step in the right direction despite it's major faults.

I ran through it on Veteran difficulty at the weekend.. max settings @1440p on GTX1080Ti and averaged 150-200fps.. a lot more enjoyable experience than when I played it back in the day.

Hopefully they'll release the rumored multiplayer eventually, maybe as a DLC for the new game and then give the DLC for free to people who paid for remastered.. pigs might fly too ;-)
