Bethesda mentions that during QuakeCon 2020, the historic FPS Quake can be grabbed for free. Those who wish to obtain a copy will have time from August 7 to 9, and to obtain it they simply must log in to their official page Bethesda.net or in the launcher of the company.

QUAKE for Free! – Throughout the weekend of QuakeCon, players can login to Bethesda.net and obtain a free digital copy of the original Quake on the Bethesda launcher. You must be logged into your Bethesda.net account to claim the free game

Also, those who get their free copy of Quake may download mods for the game as the Slayer's Testaments or Arcane Dimensions HD with 22 new levels. In addition, DOOM Eternal players will be able to access the QuakeCon Skin Slayer for free, among other things.

If donations reach the goal of $10,000 during the weekend show, Bethesda will also give away Quake 2 and give access to the full Ray Tracing version of the game in their launcher (which I think already is free on Steam?)
