BenQ adds a new monitor in their DesignVue series, the PD3420Q is an ultra-wide monitor aimed at designers. It's quite a looker, with thin screen edges and a brushed metal stand.

The monitor has a 34"IPS, and remember it is not a gaming monitor so it is 60 Hz. The resolution is 3440x1440 pixels (21: 9). Calibrated from the factory is has a DeltaE of ≤3 and covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut (which is really high), 100 percent sRGB. Max brightness would be 400 cd/m² as it is listed as DisplayHDR 400 screen.

The screen can be divided into two segments of 16:9 and 5:9 at their native resolutions, displaying two different contents simultaneously. KVM Switch function allows users to display and control content from two different PCs on a single screen using just one keyboard and mouse set to save space and boost work efficiency. The latest generation Hotkey Puck G2 offers quick access to your preferred color modes and features so they’re all just a click away. The high speed USB-C port provides fast video, audio, data, and even power delivery with a single cable. Improve time management thanks to a decluttered workspace.

At the time of writing, it is not yet known when the monitor will appear on the market and at what price.
