BattlEye Bans a 800,000 Folks in PUBG Since November
The 'anti-cheat gold standard' BattlEye is reporting that PUBG bans now exceed over 1.5 million. That's over 800,000 accounts banned since November 14.
The latest figures were provided via the BattlEye (@TheBattlEye) Twitter account:
Update on the number of PUBG bans: 1,500,000.
— BattlEye (@TheBattlEye) December 28, 2017
After releasing new security updates last week, we banned almost 100,000 PUBG accounts this past weekend totaling over 700,000. That being said, fighting cheaters will always remain WIP and never be solved completely, especially in the most popular Battle Royale game.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I remember reading somewhere that PUBG was free in China(I'm definitely NOT 100% sure on this). That could account for almost all the hackers, if they can just keep making steam accounts and installing pubg for free.

Maybe spend 30 seconds "researching" something before making useless posts like this. Game isn't free in China.

So they openly admit that 5% of they player base are cheaters ruining the game for the remaining 95% of legit players. Unless someone will make an anti-cheat system that makes bans tied to hardware configuration all those cheater will just rebuy a game, make another fake account and they will continue troll.

Condolences to the people who didn't do jack and got lumped in with the rest.
That's quite a big number.
