Battlefield 2042 to be Bundled with NVIDIA's RTX 30-series Desktops and Laptops

NVIDIA announced a bundle that includes the highly anticipated online multiplayer shooter "Battlefield 2042" as well as a selection of pre-built desktops and laptops that are equipped with GeForce RTX 30-series "Ampere" graphics cards.

The game, which is set to be released in October, will be included as pre-order coupons with select pre-built systems that are equipped with GeForce RTX 3070, RTX 3070 Ti, RTX 3080, RTX 3080 Ti, or RTX 3090 graphics cards, according to the company.

Both the RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti are not included in this package. By purchasing a qualifying desktop or laptop GPU, you will be eligible not only for a copy of "Battlefield 2042" Standard Edition, but also for access to the game's Open Beta as well as in-game bonuses such as exclusive weapon charms, player cards, backgrounds, and a special weapon. The bundle, which comprises a variety of pre-built desktops and laptops, is only available in a restricted number of markets and is only available through partner retailers.

Weird, seem's unnecessary from a business point of view. Cards are already selling instantly at inflated prices so there's no need to incentivise a purchase.

I can already imagine miners buying these cards, and selling of the keys for this game on ebay.

It's PR for both Nvidia and BF2042 since BF2042 support DLSS at launch.
