ASUS announced the release of the ROG-THOR-1600T-GAMING. This is a fully modular power supply unit that has achieved 80PLUS TITANIUM certification.

The ROG-THOR-1600T-GAMING employs a Gallium Nitride-based GAN MOSFET, which has lower switching losses than traditional silicon transistors. This, combined with a digital controller designed to rapidly respond to load fluctuations and a low ESR capacitor produced by a Japanese manufacturer, ensures a stable output. This unit integrates a large "ROG heat sink" and a 135mm Axial-tech fan, both of which are common features in ROG power supply units. These components ensure high cooling performance and quiet operation, achieving "Lambda A++" standards. The cables in ROG-THOR-1600T-GAMING are fully modular, allowing connections only as necessary. Additionally, it includes a 12VHPWR (12+4pin) cable for PCI Express 5.0 capable of supplying up to 600W. An OLED is installed on the side of the unit, providing real-time power consumption monitoring.

The maximum output of this unit is 1,600 W (for voltages between 115 V to 240 V) or 1,300 W (for voltages between 100 V to 115 V). Safety features include overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), overload protection (OPP), short circuit protection (SCP), and overheat protection (OTP). The dimensions are 150mm in width, 190mm in depth, and 86mm in height, with a weight of 2.69kg. The product will be available starting August 4, with an estimated retail price of approximately 559 USD.
