ASUS Outs ROG Strix GS-AX5400 Router with Gear Accelerator

ASUS announced a new Wi-Fi 6 router "ROG Strix GS-AX5400" equipped with Gear Accelerator that beefs up the performance of gaming devices.

The Gaming Wi-Fi 6 router capable of high-speed transfer of 4,804 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 574 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band. The antenna is an external antenna x4, which supports 2.4GHz: 2x2 and 5GHz: 4x4. Wired LAN port "GamePort" that automatically prioritizes bandwidth allocation, "Gear Accelerator" that prevents bandwidth conflict between devices and maximizes device performance, "Game" that prioritizes bandwidth of game applications Equipped with gaming functions such as "Boost". It also has "VPN Fusion" that allows VPN and normal Internet connection to coexist, and "Ai Protection Pro" that protects the network.The supported network standard is IEEE 802.11a / b / g / n / ac / ax, the processor is a 1.5GHz tri-core, and the memory is equipped with 256MB flash and 512MB RAM. It also supports OFDMA, beam forming, 1024-QAM, and AiMesh.

The interface is Gigabit WAN x1, Gigabit LAN x4, USB3.2 Gen.1 x 1. Weight 701.3g.
