ASUS has introduced the ExpertCenter PN64-E1, a mini PC underpinned by a 13th Gen Intel Core processor, and equipped with DDR5-4800 memory and Intel Iris Xe graphics.
This device includes two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots, five USB ports, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports with DisplayPort 1.4 capability. It also provides two HDMI ports and a versatile configurable port. The casing enables swift access to storage and memory modules, facilitating effortless upgrades.
The PN64-E1's 13th Gen Intel Core processor delivers a performance improvement of up to 9% compared to its predecessor, resulting in more efficient processing of resource-demanding business applications. The included DDR5 memory provides a substantial speed increase over DDR4, enhancing overall productivity.
The device supports Thunderbolt 4, combining the versatility of USB-C with Thunderbolt connectivity, at speeds reaching 40Gbps, while also accommodating DisplayPort 1.4. This port is USB4-compatible, enabling a compact, all-purpose connection to docks, displays, or storage devices. The rear Thunderbolt port offers Power Delivery input, allowing the PN64-E1 to source power from a compatible monitor.
The PN64-E1 supports either a single 8K@60Hz display or up to four 4K@60Hz monitors via the combination of two HDMI ports, Thunderbolt 4, and the configurable port, provided the HDMI option is selected. If HDMI 2.1 is chosen for the configurable port, it can support up to 8K or 4K@60Hz separately, making it ideal for multi-display settings or extended office workspaces.
The 13th Gen Intel Core processor in the PN64-E1 pairs with next-gen DDR5 4800MHz memory, offering a 1.5x speed increase and 8% more energy efficiency than DDR4 3200MHz memory. This combination ensures remarkable performance for daily tasks.
The device features an enhanced thermal module with a dedicated heat pipe for improved heat dissipation, while an aluminum heatsink facilitates efficient conductivity, allowing the compact PN64-E1 to deliver desktop-like performance. The device's intelligent fan control technology offers adjustable fan modes according to user requirements.
The rear Thunderbolt port supports Power Delivery input and output, enabling the PN64-E1 to draw power from a compatible monitor or supply power to other devices. AI Noise Canceling technology provides input and output noise cancellation for clear communication.
Environmentally conscious, the PN64-E1's body is constructed from recycled plastic, and it's packaged in eco-friendly materials sourced from FSC-certified forests. It's also ENERGY STAR certified.
