ASUS has released AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics cards

ASUS has unveiled AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics cards, which have been tuned to be a cost-effective and power-efficient option for common 1080p gaming systems.

ASUS today announced AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics cards that have been optimized to be an affordable and power-efficient choice for mainstream 1080p gaming rigs.

High resolutions and refresh rates may be the pinnacle of modern gaming, but 1080p is still the resolution of choice for most gamers these days. Whether playing graphics-intensive single-player games at 60 frames per second or competitive eSports titles at 120Hz and beyond, gamers need a card that can keep up.

The new Radeon RX 6400 comes in two variants from ASUS: the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6400 and the Phoenix Radeon RX 6400. The dual variant, which is available now, uses two Axial-Tech fans with barrier rings that increase airflow direct to the heatsink where it is needed most. 0db technology shuts down the fans completely when the card's temperature drops below 52°C, giving the user complete peace of mind when the system is not under intense gaming load. Once gamers start gaming, the fans only spin up when the GPU temperature reaches 60°C for quiet and powerful cooling.

The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6400 runs at a game clock of up to 2039MHz [1] , which can be boosted up to 2321MHz [2] to squeeze every bit of performance out of the GPU when circumstances demand it. 4GB of GDDR6 memory on a 64-bit bus provides the prerequisites for FHD gaming, and an HDMI® 2.1 and a DisplayPort™ 1.4a connection allow use with any modern display or television. An aluminum backplate keeps the card straight and stable, adding premium style to the system along with subtle lighting that enhances the geometric lines of the card cover.

The Phoenix Radeon RX 6400 graphics card uses a similar design to its larger sibling, albeit with a more affordable single-fan implementation without the aluminum backplate and lighting. Both cards are manufactured using our Auto-Extreme assembly process and a rigorous 144 hour validation program to ensure these cards are ready to perform in the real world right out of the box.

The new graphics cards are based on the powerful and energy-efficient AMD RDNA™ gaming architecture and feature high-bandwidth, low-latency AMD Infinity Cache™ memory technology and high-speed GDDR6 memory. In addition, they support Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft DirectX® 12 Ultimate, AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR) and AMD Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) upscaling technologies, AMD Smart Access Memory™ technology and other advanced features that provide a visually enable immersive gaming experience with high refresh rate.
