ASRock Introduces Affordable Taichi Lite Series with Streamlined Design

 The "Taichi Lite" range adheres to the same performance standards as the acclaimed "Taichi" series but omits some LED and heat sink elements to maintain an economical price point.



ASRock launched the economical "Taichi Lite" series. The series is available in two models, compatible with the Intel Z790 and AMD B650E chipsets respectively.

Intel Z790 Chipset: ASRock "Z790 Taichi Lite" Technical Specifications
The "Z790 Taichi Lite" is a LGA1700 motherboard, constructed specifically for Intel processors. It deploys the Intel Z790 chipset and includes a 24 + 1 + 2 phase power supply circuit rated at 105A SPS. It supports DDR5-7200 + x 4 modules, with a maximum memory capacity of 192GB. The storage interfaces provided are SATA 3.0 x 8, Blazing M.2 x 1, and Hyper M.2 x 4. Expansion slots include PCI Express 5.0 (x16) x 2, PCI Express 4.0 (x4/x16 shape) x 1, and M.2 2230 x 1. Networking features incorporate 2.5 Gigabit LAN x 1, Gigabit LAN x 1, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3. The audio subsystem utilizes a Realtek ALC4082 + ESS SABRE9218 DAC. The "B650E Taichi Lite" is an AM5 socket motherboard, designed for AMD processors. The motherboard employs the AMD B650E chipset and includes a 24 + 2 + 1 phase power supply circuit rated at 105A SPS. It supports DDR5-6600 + x 4 modules, with a maximum memory capacity of 192GB. Storage options provided are SATA 3.0 x 4, Blazing M.2 x 1, and Hyper M.2 x 2. Expansion slots feature PCI Express 5.0 (x16) x 1, PCI Express 4.0 (x4/x16 shape) x 1, and M.2 2230 x 1.
