AOC launches 35-inch 21:9 Agon AG352UCG GSYNC monitor
AOC is on the move in the gaming segment for monitors in their Agon line. They have just launched a new 35" model that has been fitted with GSYNC module. The 3ms response time VA based panel comes with a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels.
The AOC AGON AG352UCG is an UltraWide 35″ curved gaming monitor that offers an immersed gaming experience, thanks to a small 2000 mm curvature radius and a 1440p resolution. NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and a 100 Hz refresh rate allow for smooth and responsive gameplay without tearing, stuttering or input lag.
The panel offers a 300 cd/m2 brightness, 2500:1 contrast ratio and 178/178 viewing angles. This screen can manage 100 Hz with a powr consumption of 70 Watt.
- Model: AG352UCG
- Display: 35-inch 2000mm radius curved VA at 100 Hz
- Resolution: 3440 x 1440 pixels
- Sync Technology: G-SYNC
- Signal Input: 1 x HDMI, 1 x DisplayPort, 4 x USB 3.0, Audio out, Microphone in/out
- Special Features: AOC Ergo Base (height, tilt, swivel adjustment), Stereo speakers, 4ms GtG response time, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut
Clever display settings give players additional advantages, including AOC Shadow Control, which lightens overly dark areas of the image and darkens bright parts without affecting the rest of the screen. Moreover, convenient features such as a retractable headset holder and a handle make the AG352UCG a perfect choice for esports enthusiasts, who can even customise the monitor’s look thanks to adjustable coloured LED lights (red, green, blue) on the AG352UCG’s back and lower bezel. The display’s ergonomic stand called AOC Ergo Base offers height, tilt and swivel adjustment options, which empower gamers to find a comfortable posture and prevent back pain. In order to also protect players’ eyes and prevent eyestrain, the AOC Flicker-Free technology regulates the monitor’s brightness with a direct current (DC) backlight system, which reduces flicker. In addition, the optional AOC Low Blue Light mode reduces potentially harmful short wavelength blue light.

Not so sure. I was all sold on ultra-wides until I saw a few in shops. The thing that rankles me is that even on 34" screens, objects are no bigger than on 27" due to same vertical height (1440p). For that reason I would prefer a 32" 16:9 unit over an UW. Was far more impressed with a 32" HP Omen I saw up close than the UWs.

Nice specs.
This might be a very good alternative for SIM Racing.
