AMD's Ryzen 7 1700X Caught on Camera and some Benchies
Asia based XFastest is pimping some Ryzen 7 1700X processor photos, showing the heatspreader and pin pins. The photos you can see have a last-gen FX CPU on the left side for comparison.
They also have a set of 3D Mark Fire Strike, CPU Mark and Cinebench R15 results ready. Fire Strike's Physics test shows Ryzen 7 1700X scoring 17,916 points. CPU-Z screenshots indicate a 3.89 GHz clockspeed.
For multi-threaded and single-threaded benchmarking: Cinebench R15 the 1700X is shown as showing 1537 points on the multi-threaded test, and 154 points on the single-threaded one. Have a peek at the new benchies from XFastest.
Tomorrow I'll have some new stuff to report with new videos from our side as well.

Where's Marty and Doc? The date on the 3Dmark run is days into the future!
Anyhow, I'll throw this out there as a comparison with my 6850K @4.5 specs listed

I'm guessing your 6850K is overclocked. Would be interesting to see how the 1700X performs overclocked, with fast, known memory, and tweaked, considering the price difference.

Yes, that why it says 4.5 ghz so, nobody would have to guess.
The Ryzen chip was shown with a 39 multi. So, it is possible to extrapolate relative performance.

So, they have that many more pins in basically the same area, AND they have an empty space in the middle? Sheesh.
