AMD to Host New Horizon ZEN Processor Event Mid December

Word has reached us that AMD will be hosting an event called New Horizon, this event will be streamed live for everybody to follow at the 13th of December (3pm CST) and obviously is all about the upcoming ZEN processor launch.

If you point towards the AMD website you will notice a notification. At the event AMD is going to share details on ZEN. The event will showcase an "exclusive advanced preview" of the processor series that will become available in January 2017.
  

 
"Watch New Horizon, hosted by Geoff Keighley, for an exclusive advance preview of our new “Zen” CPU ahead of its 2017 Q1 launch. See eSports & Evil Geniuses legend PPD put “Zen” through its paces. There’ll be appearances from special guests and giveaways. This is the first time the public will be able to try it themselves and see what it’s capable of. If you’re serious about gaming, this is an event you do not want to miss.,"
AMD's announcement states.

The event stream goes live on the 13th of December, at 15:00 CST (21:00 hrs UTC).

Yeah AMD, I like them for what they are to achieve giving the fact that they have a fraction of cash that Intel has. World needs a powerful competitor like never before, not stagnation and prices going up constantly.

The proper advice for everyone here is to just buy ZEN with blind bag on a head, it does not matter now if it is going to be fast or slow, its not funny anymore.

It's actually interesting that they mention e-sports. All e-sports games use bad, single-threaded engines. Unless they have really solid single-core performance, these are not the best titles for a CPU showcase.
