AMD Ryzen 7 3800X overclocked to 5.9 GHz on LN2 / DDR4 at 5774 MT/s

Well, one thing is a certainty, there's isn't a lack of news on AMD products lately. A pro-overclocker (Tsaik) subzero cooled a Ryzen 7 3800X with LN2. The 8-core processors was able to reach 5.9 GHz using an MSI motherboard.



The default values for this proc are of course a 3.9 base and 4.5 GHz turbo. Looking at the results the sixth core is clocked at this speed of exactly 5911.3 MHz, using a multiplier of 59 and a bus speed of 100.19 MHz. The screenshots shows a CPU voltage of 1.1 volts but that can't be right though. In other news, the memory also run nicely, at 5774 MHz. He used the Godlike motherboard that we coincidentally reviewed today.
