AMD Ryzen 5 1400 gaming performance leaks - analysed on YT

In the Youtube video below the fold you will notice an AMD Ryzen 5 1400 tested on an ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4. The reviewer tested 10 different games against the budget Pentium G4560 and Intel core i5 7400. The analysis also contains the perfomance numbers of the Ryzen R5 1400 after being overclocked to 3800 MHz .

The  youtuber named Santiago Santiago uploaded a gaming perfomance analysis video of the Ryzen R5 1400 against the entry level pentium G4560 (which has 2 cores and 4 threads) and Intel Core i5 7400 (which has 4 cores and 4 threads). The cpu was also tweaked / clocked at 3800 MHz which is 300 MHz higher than the turbo boost clock of the i5 7400. In addition to the 1400, he used an ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 AM4 Motherboard with updated bios which has the updated AGESA code.

He used 8 Gb of Kingston HyperX Fury rams clocked at 2666 Mhz.He tested 8 games which included Battlefield 1, Fallout 4, Hitman, Assassin’s Creed Unity, GTA V, Just Cause 3 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider . In video we can see that the Ryzen R5 1400 which is priced at 169$ beats the G4560 in most games, but lacks behind the 7400 by 5 to 10 frames. Here is the Youtube video.

I kinda sorta understand that Dota 2 does not generally get benched, but this guy didn't even bench Ashes, which are the two games for sure patched for Ryzen currently...........

How the hell is it better specifically in Tomb Raider when that is one of the games where in all reviews Ryzen was really behind Intel. (the OC version of course)

And from what I saw, it does not lack behind the Intel i5 when OCed to 3,8GHz.

And did he have the updated BIOS ? I thought he said that he is actually expecting the update to come.

Paired with better cooler (possible better OC) and especially faster RAM, it could be a nice buy.

Is the driver he tested, the same as the one from the reviews? If not, there is the chance that NVIDIA has put some initial Ryzen optimization for it.
