AMD Releases Ray Tracing Tech Demo Trailer for Hangar 21: Demo to Launch November 19
AMD released a trailer for Hangar 21 , a tech demo that will arrive soon to show the power of the Radeon RX 6000 GPUs. The new line of graphics cards begins to hit the market this Wednesday the 18th, and a day later the company will launch the full demo RDNA technologies 2.
The Hangar 21 posted video offers a brief preview of what we can expect from this tech demo and also what's new in RDNA 2 GPUs. The demo includes technologies like DirectX12 Ultimate and AMD FidelityFX. According to the teaser, the Hangar 21 tech demo will put a lot of focus on reflections, lighting, and shadows.
Coming November 19, the "Hangar 21" Technology Demo Video will let you see the breakthrough AMD RDNA™ 2 gaming architecture in action, the foundation of the AMD Radeon™ RX 6000 Series graphics cards that power the next generation of gaming with mind-blowing visuals featuring realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections enabled by AMD FidelityFX and Microsoft® DirectX® 12 Ultimate.
This will be one of the AMD demos where we see Ray Tracing of the Radeon RX 6000 in action. It is worth mentioning that AMD used an RX 6900XT to shoot this trailer.

Looks nice. They used a RX 6900 XT, a X570 motherboard and a 3900X,
so with a 5000series CPU and SAM enabled it should run better too.

Looks cool for once, usually benchmarks the last few years have looked too gimmicky for me. That being said why would you release a benchmark trailer with only 1080p lol that with youtube compression is a massive fail for me
