AMD: Radeon RX 5700 XT Will Also Be Released As a Faster 50th Anniversary Edition
AMD announced on the E3 next to the Radeon RX 5700 XT and the Radeon RX 5700 an even faster graphics card: The Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition is based on the normal Radeon RX 5700 XT, but has slightly higher clock rates and a slightly more niche design.
For the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition, AMD announces a base clock of 1,680 MHz, a game clock of 1,830 MHz and a maximum turbo of 1,980 MHz. Thus, the frequencies are each 75 MHz higher than the normal version. If the board power is allowing that, it boils down towards a three percent faster card. I say that as the TDP was not specified by AMD. In addition, the Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition differs slightly in color. Instead of red, the color gold plays a role on the cooler, but the cooler itself is identical. The graphics card will be $499, that is more expensive than the regular reference design at $ 449. There is no information on the publication date and availability. The regular Radeon RX 5700 XT and the Radeon RX 5700 will be available on July 7.

No, it actually decreases efficiency of blower.

Interesting part on this GPU is, that it is showing where regular 5700 XT can go in terms of clock. (If one is willing to use that TDP.)
And it is likely that just flashing this vBIOS to regular 5700 XT will make it behave in same manner. Question is: Can regular clock as high even with same voltage boost?
(Depends on binning.)

So the claim is that it helps a tiny bit on acoustics, performance wise it will not make a difference. Basically, it's aesthetics ..

I'd say it's the new-age Kung-Fu Grip, but if that were the case, Lisa is holding it wrong.

I hope to hear their reasoning for the dent in the shroud.
