AMD Radeon Graphics Channel Roadmap Surfaces
Nothing is safe on the web it seems. A new roadmap leaked onto the web showing AMD's Radeon lineup for 2015. It is as discussed many times now, exactly what we told for a while now. Lots of respins and rebrands, aside from that exciting new Fiji product of course.
The only thing this roadmap does is to confirm things we have been saying for a while now:
- Hawaii is the 290X and will be the 390X but rebranded to Grenada. This series is positioned against the GeForce GTX 970.
- The R9 285 is Tonga, which will be the R9 380 with slightly more shader procesors, this chip will now be respun to "Antigua" and is positioned against the GeForce GTX 960. Tonga/Antigua does offer Direct3D feature-level 12_0 support.
- The 270 series (First Pitcairn (aka Radeon 7800 released three years ago) then called uracao) will be the 370 series tagged as Tobago. The 260 (Bonaire) is gonna be the 360 series. And so on.
- The one new chip is of course Fiji, it will get two SKUs, based on a Pro and XT GPU model. We expect a liquid cooled version, and likely a lower clocked less specced Pro model with air-cooling of some sort. Probably just one SKU will launch though initially though.
The product is to compete with the GeForce GTX 980 Ti with a Pro model to compete with the GTX 980. Anyway, have a look at the roadmap.

If you take this leak seriously and read it properly....
Do you have information about Grenada XT/PRO and what GCN revision it is based on?

That's for sure.
Unless fake, not even AMD knew what name will Fiji get.

so let me be the first (on these boards) to ask why fiji is slightly shifted to the right -- soft launch?
e: obviously assuming the roadmap is accurate / up-to-date

Red is for older generation, therefore it says that only R7-250 is "rebrand" (not really since name will stay same).
R7-360 - Tobago PRO
370 - Trinidad PRO
R9-380 - Antigua PRO
R9-390/390x - Grenada PRO/XT
...and magically Fiji PRO/XT with Fiji PRO/XT core.
Unless fake, not even AMD knew what name will Fiji get.
