Amazon Pushes Back the Release Date of New World Until September - that GPU Bricking Game
New World has received a great deal of attention as a result of the failure of various graphics cards while playing the closed beta. The game was initially set for May, but was subsequently postponed until August due to scheduling conflicts.
The game's makers have now said on Twitter that it will be published on September 28th as previously announced. Amazon Games, a gaming company that is a subsidiary of the tech behemoth Amazon, is working on the project. A massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the 17th century, in which players are tasked with colonizing an island, is called Colonization. An example of this is the Open 3D Engine, which was developed through a cooperation between the Open 3D Foundation, which is sponsored by the Linux Foundation, and Amazon Games. This is one of the most technically intriguing elements of the game. New World is the first big game to use the open-source engine, and it is also the most ambitious.

they paid a lot of streamers to show the game but most didn't play more than their due time, not a good look

A lot of streamers also did the opposite, I think I have watched around 40 hours New World on 10 different streamers.
The team I followed had a full list of functions and proficiencies ready for the primary team and 2 half full support teams ready before launch.
Multiple of the streamers clocked in 12 hour streams and some did 24 hours straight.
People showed up with full teams to pvp wars and a reserve list was ready if someone dropped out.
All in all I feel like the beta was a huge success and smoother then a lot of other game launches.
The GPU killing still has a lot of mystery going on about it, so I do not want to comment on that yet.

I think the last thing I want is to give a company like Amazon permanent connection to my computer.
