Age of Empires III Definitive Edition Arrives  in October

Microsoft Games Studio declared the Definitive Edition of Age of Empires 3 is to arrive on October 15th on Steam and Xbox Game Pass. Also, the company has released a new trailer that you can find below the fold.

The third installment in the remastered trilogy, Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition, will feature two new game modes: Historical Battles and The Art of War Challenge Missions. In addition, it will support online play (Cross-Network), mods, and include all previously released expansions. The new release will also include two new civilizations. The Swedes focused on the strength of the battlefield, and the Incas, who are oriented to build large cities of stone. It will be necessary to have at least an Intel i3 2105 or AMD Phenom II X4 973 processor, 8 GB of RAM memory and a GeForce GT 430, Radeon HD 5570 or Intel HD 4400 graphics card.

Recommended requirements include an Intel i5 3300 or AMD FX-8350 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a GeForce GTX 980 or Radeon R9 Fury graphics card. In addition, you must have 42 GB of storage.

I don't really see the point, the graphics of 3 are still good today.

It's more then just a remaster, though just because it looks decent today, doesn't mean it can't look better.

But it does include more content as well.

I was going to comment here that it's not a lot of additional content as far as i can tell, and hope it's not more then $19.99, and it, indeed, is $19.99...but i gotta be honest, pricing seems....odd....

One of the new civilisations is playing as Swedes, how great ain't that!
