ADATA launched a new line of external SSDs, the SE730H. Coming in 256GB and 512GB capacities, these waterproof, dustproof and shockproof external SSDs (Gold & Red color options) are built with a textured metallic exterior.
The units are based on 3D TLC NAND Flash memory chips and a reversible USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) Type-C connection interface (USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable included). Supporting Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Mac OS X 10.6 or later, Linux Kernel 2.6 or later and Android 5.0 or later operating systems, the SE730H external SSDs promise to deliver read and write speeds of up to 500MB/s and 500MB/s. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.
