At the end of October, Nvidia may introduce two new GeForce RTX 30 video cards. The GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti will see additional variations.
According to VideoCardz, the new GeForce RTX 3060 model has 8GB of GDDR6 memory, as opposed to the existing RTX 3060's 12GB of memory. As a result, the new 8GB model is likely to be less expensive than its predecessor. In exchange, the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti receives faster GDDR6X memory, albeit the capacity stays same at 8GB. If the RTX 3060 Ti receives 19Gbit/s memory modules, the bandwidth increases from 448GB/s to 608GB/s.
NVIDIA plans to release the RTX 3060 with 8GB VRAM, which is 4GB less than the initial model. The present model costs $350 in the United States, thus a price of less than $300 for this new 8GB edition is plausible. Furthermore, NVIDIA is developing an improved RTX 3060 Ti with GDDR6X memory. Assuming the same 19 Gbps memory as the RTX 3070 Ti, the memory bandwidth would rise from 448 GB/s to 608 GB/s (36%). There has been no confirmation of the RTX 3070 Ti with GA102 GPU, although as previously said, such devices are often localized and not internationally offered. The RTX 3060 Ti with GA103 GPU, for example, is only accessible via specific board partners in China.
