96-core AMD Epyc Genoa CPU spotted
AMD will release Zen 4-based Epyc server processors and Ryzen 7000 CPUs rather sooner than later. A Twitter user (YuuKi AnS,) shared a photograph of the Epyc 9654, which is a 96-core Genoa CPU with a TDP of 360 watts.
AMD will launch its next-generation server processors earlier and with more cores, according to YuuKi AnS. In early July, the leaker revealed both manufacturers' lines, revealing that the top model featured 60 cores and 120 threads. AMD Genoa features 96 cores, which is half more number of its predecessor.The CPU in the photo contains a model number, EPYC 9654, ergo it is not an engineering sample. That means AMD is already distributing the first EPYC Genoa CPUs to partners, with a complete rollout on the way.
EPYC Genoa CPUs will be built on the Zen 4 architecture, which is also utilized in the soon-to-be-released Ryzen 7000. The server CPUs will support DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 and have up to 96 cores and 192 threads. The EPYC 9654, featured in the photo on Twitter, will have 96 cores and 384MB L3 cache and clock frequencies of up to 2.15GHz.

At first I was a bit surprised by the wattage, until I realized that's 3.75W per core, or 1.875W per thread. That's actually really impressive, when you consider a 5950X max TDP is 8.875W per core.
