GPU manufacturers have worked really hard to make a very shallow memory bus width still perform well enough.
Over here this card costs what 6700 XT, in my opinion, should cost. Of couse 6700 XT then costs something totally witless. 6700 XT was what I would have considered from AMD's side, compared to 3060 Ti from Nvidia's side. However, by the time 6700 XT was released, the mining craze was already pushing forward like a runaway truck, so I never really witnessed any sensible prices for 6700 XT.

Which is a shame. I also wanted a 6700xt but prices being so out of control the card ended up being very inflated. At some point it was more expensive than 3070 but now they are about the same. Still, 3060ti is even cheaper so...

This really shows just how good my 2070 Super was compared to the price I paid for it. $500 seems like a steal for last gen hardware even. Though FSR might change that as it looks like it may actually rival DLSS.
